Biography
Lady Kola, whose real name is Akoul Ajom, is a South Sudanese singer, songwriter, model and peace campaigner known for her Afrobeat and Dancehall music.
Born in Eritrea on 16 August 1999, Lady Kola began her music career in 2018 and has since established herself as one of the prominent female artists in South Sudan's contemporary music scene.
Her catalogue includes songs such as “Dugu Kas,” “Toronto,” “Muhaba,” “Tonight,” “Good Energy” and “Du Nhoom Maar.” She has also collaborated with artists from across Africa, including Cindy Sanyu, John Blaq, Arrow Bwoy, Olakira and JZyNo.
Lady Kola releases music through Sankara Music Africa and continues to expand her presence across the East African music scene while representing South Sudan through her music and creative work.
