Biography
Lul Simon, whose full name is Simon Gatdet Lul, is a South Sudanese recording artist from Nasir, Upper Nile State.
Born on 11 November 1996, Lul Simon has built a catalogue of South Sudanese music that includes “Wani,” “Mufta Loacda,” “Belong To You,” “Tunda,” “Much Nhoka” and “Kel (We are One).” He is particularly known for “South Sudan Diva,” released in 2020.
Alongside his music career, Lul Simon is an electrical engineer. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the International University of East Africa in Kampala, Uganda, in 2024.
Lul Simon is also associated with South Boyz Unit (SBU-Dynasty) and continues to release music from Juba, South Sudan.
