Biography
Teny Wiew, professionally known as TR Craze, is a South Sudanese rapper and artist from Bentiu.
His journey to music has been shaped by experiences of war, displacement and migration. After leaving South Sudan, TR Craze travelled through Libya and across the Mediterranean before eventually settling in England.
Musically, TR Craze works primarily within hip-hop and rap, while incorporating melodic and R&B influences into his sound. His music draws from his personal experiences and South Sudanese background, while exploring themes ranging from life and resilience to relationships and celebration.
TR Craze has released a growing catalogue of music including “Ci Neey Pood,” “Big Boy,” “Bentiu Girl,” “Raam Mi Raan,” “Baake Wang,” “Mar Rom,” “Jongo,” and “Ngath Rodu.” He has also collaborated with artists including Lakal 23, Ruey L.O.C and Caine Marko.
Based in the UK while maintaining a connection to South Sudan through his music, TR Craze represents part of a generation of South Sudanese artists developing their sound across the diaspora.
