Biography
Amac Don, whose real name is Aluong Majok Mach, is a South Sudanese-Australian recording artist and songwriter based in Melbourne, Australia.
Born in Itang, Ethiopia, Amac Don spent parts of his early life in East Africa, including Kenya and Uganda, before eventually settling in Australia.
His music career dates back to at least 2014, when he released his debut project Dinka. He has since built an extensive catalogue that includes the projects Pan Aher and Piir Du, alongside songs such as “Chiir Manga,” “Tut Xen,” “Nhialic,” “Te Nhier Yin” and “Yom Sabit.”
Amac Don's music draws on his South Sudanese heritage and experiences across East Africa and Australia, exploring themes including culture, identity, love and peace. Throughout his career, he has also collaborated extensively with other South Sudanese artists, including Macco Bwoy, MC Ghetto, SunnyMan, Natty P and LCJ Mach.
